Regional Cancer Center

Board-certified oncologists and certified oncology nurses on staff at St. Mary’s Regional Cancer Center treat patients, not cancer, with state-of-the-art diagnostics, treatment, rehab, and supportive services. Eligible patients take part in national clinical trials.

Orthopedic and Spine Services

Pre-surgery classes, private patient rooms, skilled nursing and therapy staff, and fully outfitted rehabilitation gym and daily living skills suite mean orthopedic and spine surgery patients are prepared for the best outcomes.

Heart and Vascular Services

St. Mary’s is the only western Colorado hospital with a complete cardiac program, providing everything from minimally invasive interventional procedures and electrophysiology services to open-heart surgery and personalized rehab.

Neurosciences and Stroke Care

St. Mary’s is a certified Primary Stroke Center with western Colorado’s only 24/7 neurosurgical services and dedicated neuro-trauma unit. Neurologists trained in stroke care and treatment of movement disorders and four neurosurgeons are on staff.

Childbirth Classes

St. Mary's offers a variety of classes to help you prepare for and take care of your baby. Classes are taught by certified childbirth educators. Classes are free unless otherwise noted. Public Notices

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) will conduct an accreditation site visit of St. Mary’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, CareFlight, on May 30 and 31, 2013.

The purpose of the site visit will be to evaluate the program’s compliance with nationally established medical transport standards. The site visit results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which accreditation should be awarded to the program.

CAMTS accreditation standards deal with issues of patient care and safety of the transport environment. Anyone believing that he or she has pertinent or valid information about such matters may request a public information interview with the CAMTS site surveyors at the time of the site visit. Information presented at the interview will be carefully evaluated for relevance to the accreditation process. Requests for public information interviews must be made in writing and sent to CAMTS no later than 5 business days before the site survey begins. The request should also indicate the nature of the information to be provided during the interview. Such request should be addressed to:

The Commission will acknowledge such written requests in writing or by telephone and will inform the program of the request for an interview. The program will, in turn, notify the interviewee of the date, time and place of the meeting.

This notice is posted in accordance with CAMTS requirements and may not be removed until the site visit is completed.
